I have inherited some sentimental jewellery, can I use these materials for my custom piece?

We can usually use other jewellery in a new custom design. Your consultant will be able to work with you to determine how toredesign your sentimental jewellery to use in your new custom piece.

I have some jewellery I no longer want, can I trade these pieces in?

ADX will take a look at the jewellery you no longer want and provide you with a trade-in value you can use towards your new custom piece.

What is the price range for custom jewellery?

Custom jewellery ranges in price. You’ll receive a price estimate/quote for your custom design before moving forward with your design.

Can I see a 3D rendering or mockup of the custom design before it's made?

Of course! You’ll finalize your design through the use of 3D CAD designs and/or sketches before fabricating your custom piece.

What is the timeline? How long does the custom jewellery process normally take?

Custom jewellery pieces typically take 1 ½ – 2 months to complete.

What is the design process like? What does the custom jewellery process entail?

Generally there’s three steps for creating a custom jewellery piece:

  1. Approve the estimated cost/quote
  2. Finalize the design through 3D CAD designs and/or sketches
  3. Fabricate your custom jewellery
What’s the advantage of going custom? Are there any advantages of creating a custom ring instead of ordering one from the house collection?

Creating custom jewellery allows you to make exactly what you want.

Custom designing your jewellery can be helpful if you have a particular style in mind and aren’t able to find the exact design you want in our house collection.

What if the ring does not fit? Is resizing possible after the ring is made?

Yes, most rings can be sized after they’re made. Some styles are unable to be sized though, such as eternity rings.

Do you offer a warranty? What is your warranty on custom made rings?

ADX provides a warranty with all of our jewellery pieces.

Your warranty covers manufacturer defects for one year after purchase, one complimentary ring sizing within the first twelve months of purchase, and unlimited lifetime cleanings and inspections.

What if we need to change something? Are changes to the ring design possible; and at what stage of the process?

Small changes are possible during renderings/design finalization, before we begin casting your custom jewellery piece.
